Common Porsche Problems We Fix
Each Porsche generation has its known weak points. Here are some we inspect for and repair regularly:
- IMS bearing concerns on 996, 986 and early 997/987 models: inspection and service options
- Rear main seal leaks
- Air-oil separator (AOS) failures, causing smoke on startup and rough idle
- Bore scoring on M96/M97 engines: evaluation before it becomes a bigger problem
- Coolant pipe failures on V8 Cayennes
- Ignition coil and spark plug tube issues
