Founded in 2024 by Joe Tutewiler and Kevin Adams, Bluegrass Precision Motorwerks is Lexington, Kentucky's premier destination for high-end European vehicle service and diagnostics. Recognizing the gap in local offerings for brands like Ferrari, Lamborghini, McLaren, and Porsche, Joe and Kevin established BPM to offer dealer-level diagnostics and world-class service. Before BPM’s opening, owners of luxury and exotic vehicles in Lexington faced long trips to dealerships in Louisville, Nashville, and even Columbus to access the specialized care these cars demand.

Joe also graduated from Universal Technical Institute in Chicago, IL, but took a unique route, initially pursuing a career in the oil and gas industry. Throughout this time, Joe stayed deeply engaged in the automotive world, buying and selling enthusiast vehicles, participating in auto-x events and track days, and actively maintaining membership in clubs like the Sports Car Club of America and Porsche Club of America. After managing a network of privately owned oil-hauling trucks and gaining valuable experience overseeing a private collection of luxury and exotic vehicles, Joe was ready to realize his vision for Bluegrass Precision Motorwerks.
Kevin Adams
Co-Owner / Master Technician
Kevin brings extensive expertise with European vehicles to the BPM team. A graduate of the Universal Technical Institute in Chicago, IL, Kevin went on to complete advanced training in the Volkswagen program in Rancho Cucamonga, CA. His career includes experience with Volkswagen and Audi dealerships, where he achieved Master Technician status, as well as hands-on work in independent European specialty shops. Kevin’s crown jewel? His work with top-tier racing teams, including the Porsche Cayman Cup and Lamborghini Super Trofeo, showcasing his skillset in high-performance engineering.
